EVHotelStay (evhotelstay.com) is a travel guide to hotels with electric-vehicle charging. This page says what personal data the site collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Enquiry form. When you write to us through the contact page we receive the name, email address and message you type, so that we can reply. The message is stored in this site’s database and sent to our own mailbox.
Newsletter. If you sign up, we store the email address you gave us and nothing else. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing deletes the address.
Server logs. Our hosting provider records ordinary web-server logs, including IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting. We do not use them to build a profile of you.
We do not sell or rent personal data. We do not run advertising trackers or a third-party analytics product on this site. We do not ask you to create an account, and we never handle your payment details — booking and payment happen on the travel provider’s own site, under their terms.
Your language, your currency and the last few searches and hotels you looked at are stored by your own browser so the site can remember them between visits. They stay on your device, they are not sent to us, and clearing your browser storage removes them.
When you follow a link to check prices or availability, you leave evhotelstay.com for a travel provider such as Booking.com. If you then book, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. From that point on, that provider’s own privacy policy governs what happens to your data — including any cookies they set.
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us through the contact page and we will action the request. If you are in the EU or the UK and you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to your national data protection authority.
If this policy changes we will update this page. Charging details — connector, power and whether it costs anything — reflect what we could confirm on the date shown. Equipment is added, removed and taken out of service, so confirm with the hotel before you rely on it.
